ARTIST STATEMENT

I reinterpret historical European silhouettes and underpinnings, experiment with textural fabric manipulations, and embellish with the hand - to create garments. My work is a sculptural practice utilizing the physical language of clothing as a vessel for grief and celebration.

My film work is a cinematic sketchbook of different narrative structures exploring poetic Kafkaesque rumination and the performance of garments, blurring the person and persona.
